All we need from you is a recorded survey and a site plan, we can do everything else including production of a Wincan report and estimate, leaving you free to get on with your job. If you have one claim or a hundred that you need us to assist with, we charge a small percentage of the total claim value - purely on a case by case basis. If no valid claim exists, or the insurer turns a claim down, there is no charge to you or your customer.

If your drains are damaged and in need of repair, UKDP Claims Assist can handle everything for you. More often than not, the cost of repair of damaged private drains is covered under the terms of buildings insurance policies. However, it can be difficult to know whether the damage to your drains would be covered, and if so, how best you should communicate with your insurer. UKDP can assess the specifics of any damage present, as well as reviewing your existing insurance policy to understand whether a valid claim might exist. If so, and with your permission, we can arrange for a claim to be registered with your insurer on your behalf. A full report will be prepared for your insurer to exacting insurance industry standards (a copy of which will be provided to you) and all negotiations will be handled with your insurer through to settlement of your claim. UKDP will then arrange for the repairs to your drains to be undertaken as quickly as possible.
There is no cost to property owners for our service – although if a claim is successful, any excess on your insurance policy would be payable. If a claim is turned down, or if initial investigations show that a claim would not be valid, there would also be no cost to you.
